Evelina De Lain

After a sell-out concert at Lauderdale House, virtuoso pianist and composer, Evelina De Lain will be performing her latest creative collection of work, Soul Journey (accompanied by a full Chamber Ensemble) on October 24th 2015 in the Princess Alexandra Hall of the Royal Overseas League in London’s Green Park. Doors open at 7:30pm. Performance: 8PM.


Accomplished musician, Evelina De Lain, whose highlights include performances before members of the British Royal family, Prime Ministers, Nobel Prize and Oscar award winners, will be accompanied by a full chamber ensemble for her presentation of this vibrant, new album, which merges classical structures with jazz harmonies.

Soul Journey was conceived, written, arranged and conducted by Evelina herself. The album was produced by BBC jazz award-winning producer and MOBO nominee Tony Remy, recorded by legendary sound engineer and saxophonist Derek Nash and mastered by Chris Lewis, with the title track, Soul Journey being mixed by Mark Fisher of “Matt Bianco”.

The second half of the concert is dedicated to fun and expression, with fresh and unique interpretations of well known classics such as “Elvira Madigan”, “Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence”, “Cinema Paradiso”, “Sex and the City” and more, also featuring a solo rendition of the virtuoso “Warsaw Concerto”.

First set – 8pm-8.45pm.

Second Set – 9.15-10PM.
