Butterfly 2013

Light wings flutter by,
Antennae host beady eye.
With an effortless descent,
You land on a flower,
Eating up your nectar shower,
With feet that taste
And legs that curl,
You shine in the sea garden
Like an oyster’s pearl.
How you dance such fast ballet
So much that I want to play,
Get away from this world of city
And fly amongst the plants
So pretty.
